Actual evapotranspiration and crop coefficients for tropical lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.) in eastern India
Actual evapotranspiration (ETa) and crop coefcients (Kc) for tropical lowland rice in Eastern India were calculated using eddy covariance approach. The magnitude of ETa during dry seasons were higher than the wet seasons in both the study years. The Kc values derived in this study are diferent from those suggested by the FAO for ricewhich indicates that Kc values may need to be revised for regional-scale irrigation scheduling.
